Solar for apartments & gated communities
Lifts, pumps, corridor lighting and clubhouse loads run all day. A common-area solar plant cuts maintenance charges for every flat owner.

Can an apartment association install solar for common areas?
Yes. A Resident Welfare Association (RWA) or Group Housing Society can install rooftop solar for common facilities such as lifts, water pumps and lighting. Under PM Surya Ghar, RWAs are eligible for central financial assistance of ₹18,000 per kW for up to 500 kW.
