FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to what people usually ask us about going solar.
Solar energy offers powerful benefits across residential, commercial, and industrial segments:
- Drastic electricity bill reduction
- Eco-friendly, zero-emission energy
- Low maintenance & high reliability
- Customizable for rooftop or ground-mount installations
- Government subsidies, net metering, and tax benefits available
Whether you're a homeowner or a factory, solar delivers long-term financial and environmental value.
Net metering allows you to export excess electricity generated by your solar system back to the grid. You receive credit for the exported power, which can be used to offset your future electricity consumption — ideal for homes, offices, schools, factories, and more. This significantly reduces your monthly electricity cost.
The space requirement depends on system size and installation type:
- Rooftop: ~100 sq. ft. per kW (residential, commercial, or industrial rooftops)
- Ground-mount: slightly more area, plus clearance and accessibility
Higher-efficiency panels can reduce area requirements. A site survey ensures optimal design and placement for your specific needs.
Yes. While production may slightly decrease (by 10–25%), solar panels still generate power under diffuse sunlight. Modern high-efficiency and bifacial panels are designed to perform in variable weather conditions, making them reliable across seasons and geographies.
Most solar systems offer a payback period of 3–5 years, depending on:
- Installation type (rooftop/ground)
- Energy usage patterns
- Applicable subsidies and net metering
After this period, energy generation is virtually free for 20+ years, making it a strong return on investment for homes, businesses, and industries alike.
About 100 sq ft of shadow-free roof per kW. A typical 3 kW home system needs around 300 sq ft.
Standard on-grid systems switch off during outages for safety. Hybrid systems with batteries can keep essential loads running.
Quality modules carry 25-year performance warranties and often keep generating beyond that; inverters typically last 10–15 years.
CAPEX: you own the plant and keep all savings. OPEX: a developer owns the plant on your roof and you pay a fixed tariff per unit with no upfront cost.
Large consumers can buy power from an off-site solar plant through the grid — useful when roof space can't meet demand.
Yes. Our carports are wind-rated, customisable and can include EV charging.
₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW and ₹78,000 for 3 kW or more (maximum), credited after commissioning.
RWAs and group housing societies can get ₹18,000 per kW for common facilities, up to 500 kW.
The central scheme for solar in agriculture: grid-connected plants up to 2 MW on farmland (Component-A), standalone solar pumps (B) and solarisation of grid-connected pumps (C).
Every 2–4 weeks in most of Telangana and AP, more often near roads, construction or industry.
Yes — flexible AMC packages with cleaning, inspections, inverter checks, thermal scans and monthly reports.
Yes. We set up remote monitoring so you can track generation and savings in real time.
